Besides the Type 91 upper, Wolf is making a 6.5 Grendel upper and it will retail for $400.

I find this interesting. I assume, not yet available.

It is a little interesting but I'm not sold yet. I haven't had any problems with the old DI system so why change now? the hammer forged barrel sounds nice but other then that....

Exactly! Lets hope these become available before the next round of bans and restrictions kick in. I would be satisfied with a hunting grade weapon, as opposed to something for shooting 1000's round of junk ammo. Then again, a priority for me would be accuracy.

I make my own decisions on a gun by gun basis. And I may be willing to gamble $400 to see something new for myself in 6.5. Fads aside, there are lots of great piston designs as well as DI. The AK is not a DI gun. I dont see any peak there.

I though so too,but; now I see a wolf 6.5 on gun broker for 530 (buy it now) plus $30 shipping. That has some handling marks. I am starting to think that 400 was a misprint or mistake. At this higher price point (plus/minus) there is competition.
