Wolf 154gr sp

How do these fire out of an SKS, I know an AK will eat anything but the SKS was more designed for the 122gr stuff.

I think the 154gr would pack more of a punch at only a few hundred fps less in velocity, perhaps the weight would also make it more accurate down range and hold onto its power better?

How does it work for you all in the AK and SKS?

The 154sp rounds do not work for me, 2 Yugo and 1 Norico. I have much better groups with the 122hp or 123sp.
I have heard (not myself) that the 154sp does not expand much beyond 150 yards because of the lost velocity.

Just my opinion.

I shoot the Wolf 154 grain Soft Point out of my AK and SKS. With the SKS, I can hit tennis balls consistantly at 100 yards. The 154 grain Soft Point is equal to a 30-30. Corbons 150 grain SP is a little hotter than the 30-30, and also more expensive. I use the 154 for paper, and zero in with the 150 for hunting.
