Winchester silver tips? same as lead?

Are Winchester silver tip HP's the same as shooting unjacketed lead? I shoot a Glock and I know lead is not recomended for them. I don't know if that silver coat prevents the lead from fouling the barrel.

I think Silver tips are aluminum jacketed, not a Problem in you Glock

Hello. Treat your silvertips as a jacketed bullet for reloading. In everything but .32ACP, the silvertip jacket is merely e-nickled gilding metal; the .32is aluminum.
