Winchester 9417 Legacy

This is the 2nd outing for me and I like it a lot better now. The first time I was not impressed with the 17 HRM but then it was a windy day. Thursday was fairly calm though and it destroyed cans with attitude for a rimfire. I still think 22 mag has more thump but I like this rifle. It's accurate. The 17 HRM "bled out" a large plastic cat litter container that I had filled with water remarkably quick. This legacy has a semi pistol grip which is my favorite. Shame they are no longer made.

Not much was left of the 17 CCI Green bullet I shook out of the cat litter container.

Say, I think that is a collector's item at this point. But then, so is every 94 rimfire. I never had an LE, but have bolt actions in both .22 WRM and .17 HRM. I think also the .22 is more practical for hunting, especially. For accuracy, however, nothing will touch my heavy-barrel Savage .17. On a quiet day, anyways. It is really fun to put tiny bullets in tiny groups.
