I recently picked up a used, like new, Winchester Model 70 in 7mm Rem Mag. I put a Nikon BDC scope on it and had it's first trip to the range over the weekend. It took a few shots to get the scope zeroed (100 yards), those are the plugged holes. She held the center pretty well!
Next trip out, set the zero for 200 yards.
I've had a Mod. 70 in 30-06 for 30 years, a gift from my dad who won it in a poker game in 1950, so I've a particular fondness for this platform.
