Will Democrats denounce this?

That's pretty horrible.

I wouldn't expect the Democratic party to come out and denounce it, though, because it's just some dumb crap some idiot posted. It'll get its 15 minutes (or more like 15 seconds) of Internet fame and then fade away.

If either major political party were to try to track down every hateful cheap-shot created by their rabid supporters and denounce them, they wouldn't have any free time to actually run the campaign.

Apparently so, given that over half the replies in that thread were negative, somebody alerted a mod (it's a post at DU), then it was locked.

That is beyond idiocy. Disgusting and infuriating. The person who posts something like that should be booted from the forum.

What will ebay do? They booted a man for not selling flag to Californians...i'd like to see their reaction to this.

Cruel, sick humor. The Dems should condemn it even if they're not directly accountable. To attack a candidate is one thing, to use a child as the target - in any way - is quite something else.

The Dems will cut their own throat. Obama is now equal or behing McCain on all the polls

Actually, a new poll shows McCain has taken the lead, and, among likely voters, has taken a 10 pt lead over Obama in a USA Today/Gallup poll. I believe the democrat stupidity and hatred of Palin and her family is contributing to this. Who would vote for these mean spirited democrats?

Republican presidential candidate John McCain seems to be riding high at a Colorado Springs campaign event over the weekend.

With Sarah Palin at his side, John McCain turned his electoral fortunes around following the Republican National Convention - he now leads Barack Obama 50%-46%, a new poll revealed.

McCain's four-point advantage among registered voters in the latest USA Today-Gallup survey marks the Republican's biggest advantage since January. It marks a turnaround from a pre-convention poll that showed him trailing Obama seven points.

Factoring just likely voters, McCain widened his lead over Obama to 54%-44%, the new poll showed.

Yes, there are crass people in America. That doesn't make this thread less inane. Off topic and closed.
