hey i was thinking about getting an eotech for my flat top ar15 and was wondering if just normaly it will cowitness with a flip up rear sight or do i really need to buy that RRA dominator mount?
Aiming with the ARMS flip up rear sight. the red dot of my eotech sits on the top of my front sight. IMHO, the only reason to buy a riser for an eotech is so that your iron sights are lower (bottom third) when viewed through your holographic window.
My AR has a Bushnell HoloSight 400 Series. I'm pretty sue it's almost the same thing as an EO Tech, at least as far as your question is concerned. Anyhow, mine works fine with my flip-up rear sight.
