Why is Tikka T3 LH lighter than RH?

The Beretta sight lists the 300wsm Tikka T3 light stainless as such, Left hand model at 6# 3oz and the right hand @ 6# 6 oz. Anybody know the difference? I'm a lefty considering one of these for a mountain rifle, so the loss of weight doesn't concern me too much, just would like to know why. If they are actually using a short action for the lefties that'd be great. Please no posts on how light rifles are bad, just want to know if anybody knows why the difference in weight. Thanks.

THe weights are the same. The documentation is incorrect. I'd bet you're seeing the weights for 2 different barrel lengths. I noticed Tikka/Sako are a little iffy on the specification charts. It's easy to find conflicting information. Especially since they make products we don't see imported here to the U.S.
