Whodunnit?

The case of the marked case.

The item in question is a .357 case, Midway headstamp, previously fired. There are lines similar to those on cases fired in H&K subguns. Said lines extend from the casemouth to .125" from the rim and circle the case.
Are there any pistols in .357 made with a chamber that would do this?
The other possibilities are a roughly done chamber, a lever action carbine, or a scratched sizing die.
I don't favor the die since the markings are fairly uniform and go all around the case.

Okay, whodunnit?

Sorry about that, guess I was trying too hard. The case is a .357 magnum.
A Desert Eagle came to mind, but isn't it gas operated? If so, would it need chamber fluting?

Yes, I believe it is the Grizzly. A gas delayed locking action, I think. Chamber is fluted to assist in easier case extraction.
