Who Would of Thought?

I got into guns about 2 1/2 years ago starting with 2 semi autos and never gave wheel guns much of a thought for quite some time.
News flash: I just bought my 3rd revolver (S/W 629 5" .44 mag) and I'm stuck on 2 semis!
Life really is like a box of chocolates :)

There is definitely something different and satisfying about owning and shooting a revolver. Now that you're hooked, there's no going back. :)

wheels...

...started 29 yrs. ago with my first pistol. H&R Sportsman 4" bl. A couple of years later, a .357 S&W. Sold the S&W shortly to pursue some other trivial nonsense. Mistake #1.
Bought a S&W 4043 .40 used last year and the clock started ticking very slowly about handgun interests.

Fast forward to December of this year;
Glock 22 (new)
S&W 629 Classic (used)
S&W 686-2 (used)

Ok, ok, I quit! Out of money- for a long time.
Those wheel guns are sure calling my name.

I hear you, YZR. Lots of us do. These two threads are a couple of good ones that I've saved as favorites. Some folks put it far more eloquently than I could, but the feeling is the same.

Why do you carry a revolver?

What makes revolvers so cool?

I think unless I can talk my great uncle out of his mint Colt Trooper Mk. III, I'm done. There isn't much that can't be done by a handloader with an SP101 and a Redhawk. Maybe a nice 22....
