Who needs a progressive...

...when you have a daughter to help reload?

Just got done doing some .45acp, with my 8yr. old daughter helping. I operated the powder measure and checked powder drop. She seated the bullets and operated the (single stage) press. Went pretty fast with the two of us.

Yeah, I know I'll break down and get a progressive someday. But it sure is fun when the daughter helps.

I’ll agree with that.

She is still too young to do any thing serious. She just wants to help so bad I give her cases and q-tips.Making 44s2S.JPG

I know what you mean. My ten year old boy really is a help. My 4 year old was helping today too although his "help" is usually restricted to operating the press lever. It's debatable whether or not he really saves me any time.:D

My 11 yo grandson loaded his first 50 rnds of .357 mag sunday & he did a fine job. They looked great too! Guess he'll have to shoot all 50. I've created a monster now......

I let my kid help

until she resized my thumb! She was just a little too young, and she was very sorry. No real harm done, just a pinch. Anyway, that was a long time ago.

It is fun to let the kids help, but don't let them get you distracted. And don't let them do it by themselves until they get old enough. 6 is not old enough.:D
