Who loads .17HMR these days?

Remington has a load out. I haven't tried it yet though. My best results have still been with the Hornadys.

I just picked up a couple boxes of the new Hornady Gamepoint loads at the Tulsa gun show. 20 gr expanding bullet, supposed to work well on coyotes. If these work out, I will buy a brick.

Price in Tulsa was $8.95/box, $85.00/brick. I believe Midway gets $80.00/brick.

In addition to those 3, Federal also puts out their V-Max in .17HMR which I have tried. They also have one with the Speer TNT bullet. The V-Max looks very similar to the CCI Hollowpoint (go figure - they're both now owned by the same company).

Like Larry, I still prefer the Hornady rounds over the other 3 that I have tried. I haven't tried the Gamepoints yet, but their Varmint's are first class.

Thanks lads. I am going to get a spare barrel for my Ruger. They are VERY expensive to shoot in New Zealand- about $30 for 50 rds. When you go out night shooting and fire 300+ rds, it gets expenisive...BUt for a walk in the afternoon with the Boy I think it will be ideal. :)
