Who here actually hunts with a 28 guage?

I do for quail and pheasant - a CZ over and under. I think it's a little lighter, but more honestly it's just a reason to have another gun.

Dove, pheasant, small game, lot's of them evil flying clays. I use mostly my Ruger Red Label, but once in a while I'll get the 1100 or 870 out to hunt with. They all shoot very well and are light. I have a friend that has since quit hunting, but used one for decoying geese and ducks with bismuth handloads. Inside of 40 yards he rarely missed. It was also a Ruger.

I've taken quail and pheasant with a 28 SxS. the best thing about them are their weight (or lack thereof).
