while waiting for my 686+

While waiting for my 686+ to return from S&W for grip & DA problems, I bought a EAA 2" 357 in magnum 6 shot revolver with fixed sights. after giving it a quick clean & lube job, off to the range I went. Other than a trigger which was measured over 12 lbs. the revolver was dynamite. I fired 38 sp +P round & 357's in mag rounds SA & found it to be so highly accurate that I decided to get a trigger job to bring it down to at least 9- 9.5 lbs trigger pull. I am not a snob nor do I care about the make. All I care is that it's accurate and goes bang everytime & hits where I aim for.
This will not be my carry24/7, but it will be my back-up especially at home so my wife can use it too.
Has anyone also found that the Vindicator 2' in magnum is a very fine German made solid steel revolver?

I loved mine, but my sister and her husband needed a house warming gift last year, so I took them out, showed them how to shoot it and gifted it to them. It's a well made gun. I may pick up another.
