Which surefire for the operator?

I posted this question on the 1911 forum and didn't get an answer. So here it goes:

I've been looking at the surefire web site for the models they recommend to mount on the operator. They don't seem to list the operator at all.

Which one(s) can be mounted to the operator?

Where can one purchase the mount for the light? From Springfield or Surefire?

I talked to a friend at Surefire and was advised the angle of the dustcover rail is not to picatinney spec. There is no Surefire light that will easily work on the gun.

You can "press fit" the P001 on the frame. I've done this and have had no problems with using it. You will NOT be able to remove the light without a mallet though.

Hopefully by the S.H.O.T. Show this problem will be taken care of by either Springfield or SureFire.
