I've been thinking about going on a caribou hunt. The idea of hunting in such a remote part of the world really intrigues me. My question is which outfitters do you recommend? Share good and bad experiences as well as price. I don't think I'll be booking one this year but I've really been thinking seriously about a nice big game hunt and I think caribou might be it. I'm looking forward to hearing what you guys think.

I've been looking for the same kind of hunt. Although it seems a few places i've looked into have suspended thier 2010 season for some reason.. Mostly i've looked in Canada, because they seem to be the best price. I've seen them from 16-2200$.. I would like information on this subject as well

You want to be where the migration is, AT THAT TIME. So book one where they gurantee to fly you to a new, good spot if you missed the migration in your current location. Otherwise you will twiddle your thumbs and may not get anything or even see anything.
