Which ammo do you believe is better?

A box of 50 rounds Mag-Tech 230 grain .45ACP or 50 round Winchester White Box 230 grain .45ACP?

I have no experience with Mag-tech, but all the WWB 9mm and .40 I've shot has been good, if a bit dirty.

Both are fine. Nothing stellar, but equally adequate. Go with whichever is cheaper.

how much is the winchester white box going just out of curiosity?

I used to be able to pick up 100 rnd boxes at walmart for 20 bucks (a steal), and one by one they stopped selling ammunition, and now I can't find it anywhere except in the 50 rounds, which seem to cost ~20 as well...

The Winchester "Value Packs" from Wal-Mart are now $29.XX + tax and it's some dirty ass ammo!

I'd buy whatever is cheaper.

Winchester tends to use quality cases. So if you intend to reload 45 ACP at some point, this is something to consider.
