Where is the cheapest place to buy parts, specifically a new slide and barrel?

I am wanting a new slide and barrel for my springfield p9. Since they don't "make" them anymore, you can't get them from them, but they say the eaa witness is the same. Can you order direct from them, or is it cheaper to get it else where? Do I go to my local dealer, or is there someplace on line that sells other than 1911 parts for pistols?
I just want to upgrade to the compenstated barrel/slide assembly is why I want an new one.

Gun Parts Corp might have what you need, and Brownell's sells EAA parts. Get a buddy with a FFL and you can save some money.
