I will be picking up a Firestorm M-43 that I have on hold in two weeks. The gun is in great physical condition but the bluing is severly degraded from years of carry. Struck me as a gun with plenty of holster time but little range time. This will be a carry gun and need not be pretty. I would like to refinish it but do not want to drop big $$$ like for my hard chromed Delta Elite. Since the gun is only $175 I see no reason to double the price finishing.
Has anybody ever used this Cerama-Coat stuff? It looks like the answer for a resilient & working finish that need not be pretty. I would love to hear anyone's experience with it.
