What's it Worth Question

May have a chance, to buy a Colt 45 ACP Enhanced Officers Model 0918E
Mk Series 80 in bright Stainless. NIB never shot.
I hear they are somewhat rare.
Anyone know what one should pay for it, and it's value?
Thanks

Yeah, that's an interesting piece, since the bright stainless guns are somewhat rare, and the OACP is out of print. When you say NIB, that means the box and papers are included? I'm going to say the value is in the $1000 area, though it's not a gun that I'd be too intested in buying, so it's not "worth" nearly that much. Someone who has NIB examples of every OACP model made, other than a bright stainless enhanced model to complete the collection, might pay more? There's a bright stainless Gold Cup on gunbroker now, with nobody interested in a starting bid of $1500.

I'm not a Colt 1911 collector / so I'm not sure how rare they are ....but I think something around $1,000 is probably what they're worth.... ( but I do collect a lot of 1911's / and I don't think I'd pay over $1,000 for anything Colt made ...) but they're serviceable guns ... and if you like it / you should buy it .
