What's a Rexio??

I was looking through one of my old gun rags and found an ad for Rexio revolvers!! I tried to go the their web site, but found they are no longer in bussness!!
So, what the heck was it!

I believe that Rexio is Argentinian for RG

I checked out a .22 a few years ago, was afraid if I dropped it it would shatter into little zinc shards

And along with Sir William, was a major POJ.
Normaly I use this rule.
If a gun company goes out of business,,,,,
There is probably a reasion!

Who made them??
Where did they come from??
Who imported them??

Don't worry guys, I don't want one!!! I was just curious, that's all!!!

It was something I had never heard of.

If I'm not mistaken they were from Argentina imported through Century

The Rexio I saw and turned down for purchase was made in Mexico.I remember it having a steel frame but not much else.I got a Windicator instead.

There was a company out of Argentina, "Rexiode Armas" Their offerings were imported by VAM Distibution Company, Wooster, Ohio.

Previous trademark of guns manufactured in Argentina beginning late 1999. Previously imported and distributed until 2002 by VAM Distribution Company, LLC, located in Wooster, OH.
