My home range, the Oak Ridge Sportsman's Association, in Oak Ridge, TN, used to be the location of the International Handgun Metalic Silhouette Association Eastern National Range. It was "owned" by IHMSA and reserved for their exclusive use, and the IMSHA National Championships were held there every other year. Reciently, it was turned over to our IPSC group for development of IPSC shooting bays.
I compeated in IMSHA in the mid 70s when you could be competative with an out of the box Super Blackhawk. I dropped out when it became a "Gun-of-the-Week" equipment race. How, I'll admit to having been under my rock for a while, but Whatever Happened to IMSHA?
