i'm watching ghost protocol right now, and saw the silenced one the bad guy dropped in the server room. i remember the bad guy from die hard had a nickle plated one. any others?
Die Hard...Hans Grueber the terrorist that takes over Nakatomi
Snatch.....one of the "replicas" when Bullet Tooth Tony calls them out
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
True Romance....Christopher Walken
Beverly Hills Cop 2......Brigitte Nielsen
I never saw it, but "The Return of the Man from U.N.C.L.E.", or something like that, use the P7 as the new U.N.C.L.E. Gun. Silencer, shoulder stock, optic, etc.
For full film-tv details, see; www.imfdb.org . It's a great online resource for weapons and IDing firearms. I'd say a lot of bar bets & fights over popular films/TV shows have been resolved with Imfdb.org .
The P7 line is no longer made but it was very popular in the 1980s/1990s.
A nickeled P7 9x19mm was used by Alan Rickman's Hans Gruber: www.imdb.com . Rutger Hauer packed a slick HK P7(a m13 I think) in the action film: Wanted, Dead or Alive. He played a tough bounty hunter who used the P7 to back up his SBS(short barrel shotgun). It's a good movie if you've never seen it.
