What does OWB and IWB stand for?

Styles of carry.
OWB = Out/over the waist belt
IWB = IN the waist belt

Outer waist band = External Hip Holster

Inner waist band = Holster worn between your jeans and your boxers, inside the pants.

Y'all have the right idea:

IWB = Inside Waist Band
OWB = Outside Waist Band
