This "Welcome Back" message was originally posted at the re-activation of TFL about a year ago. It is as valid now as it was then, so it remains in place, simply to clarify the intent of the forum. If there are any questions, please feel free to e-mail or Private Message me or any other staffer.

Very best regards,
Johnny

Welcome. Welcome BACK, to many, and an initial welcome to some. Some will call this The NEW Firing Line, and, in ways, it is. In most ways, though, it is simply a continuation of what TFL was when it closed down at the end of 2002. The bench mark has already been set, and we simply need aspire to remaining at that level.

This particular forum is far more technically oriented than some of the others on The Firing Line, and, so, we have historically had far less, uh, vigorous discussion and downright argument than on, say, Legal & Political, and General Discussion. Everyone has an opinion, certainly, and I want everyone to be comfortable in expressing his/her own views on a topic.

Me, I’m basically lazy. My goal is to rock along, watch the proceedings, actually “moderate” as little as possible, and contribute from time to time. In a separate “sticky,” I’ll post some guidelines and requirements about entries dealing with “Extra Heavy” loads.

Again, welcome and I look forward to us all having a lot of good times together.

Glad to see you guys back up and running.

As for "vigorous discussion", which do you like better; Dillon, RCBS or Lee???

:D :p

Hi All, I am very excited to have found this sight. No one I know or work with reloads, so I have very little advice, input, etc. from my pals. I have been reloading for just over 6 years now. I was under the apprenticeship of a master reloader, whom was also one of those secret squarrel scientists for the gov't. Needless to say, he really impressed me with his knowledge. Before I start ramblin' on, I reload 9mm, 38/357, 45, and .223. I do plan on loading 30-30 when I can find the time. I have been having trouble with my .223 loads jamming in my Colt AR-15. I will be brousing around to get some valuable tips. Thanks Guys, Bill
