Weird Scope Problem

I have no idea why but when i look through my scope at 8x the reticle actually vanishes, its there for like a second but it kind of fades away, my fiance had a look and she said the same thing, then my dad and his friend looked and they could see the reticle easily. When i set it on 32x i can see it no problem as well, its really weird, anyone know why?

wow... that's a strange problem... who makes the scope? i would send it in for repair/warranty

What scope? What reticle?
"...set it on 32x..." What are you shooting that needs that much magnification?

Sounds like the recticle has shot loose. I had that happen to a pistol scope. You could focus on either the target or the reticle but not both. Send it in to get fixed.

The scope is a Nightforce NXS 8-32x56. The only reason I use it on such high magnification is because that's the only way I can c it. Though I normally sit it as low as possable. Oh and it's a NPR2 reticle.
