One of our list members has complained (over on the wa-ccw list) that the Camas police department is interfering with firearms purchases at the Camas Sports
Center. Has anyone else made a handgun purchase there recently? If so, were you told that your WA Concealed Pistol License did not exempt you from the 5 day
waiting period?
Do any list members work for the Camas PD?
I had this same problem with a gun shop in Vancouver that was erroneously informed by the Clark County Sheriff's office, but we got things straightened out. All gun shops in Washington should be allowing permit holders to skip the
5 day waiting period.
