an 8 ounce mercury recoil reducer runs about 100 bucks installed at my local shop....and they REALLY work!!! im having one installed on my .300 wthby, god that gun hurts to shoot...

The kinetic balancer isn't just a recoil reducer, it also can be used to alter the radius of gyration to fine tune the "feel" of the swing. Since the recoil reduction is based on a sprung mass, I suspect it's unsuited to the fast and heavy recoil of larger rifles (.300 WbyMag) without modification.
