I am about to start casting my own bullets but I am undecided on what bullet mould to get.A SWC,RNFP,TRUNCATED CONE,or a SILHOUETTE profile.I know each has its good and bad and Elmer Keith loved the SWC but what do you think? For a 44 and a 357 by the way.

Cant go wrong with the SWCs. For Accuracy and hunting.

I agree.

I started cranking out stuff so I didn't have to pay the reloading shop 12 bucks per 100 250 grain .452 bullets. That's a joke.

Now I've basically got a shed full of bullets for the cost of a couple hundred dollars total. That includes my stove and propane tank as well as all the lead I've used and tools I needed.

I bought a couple molds and borrowed a few from a good friend and pretty well have enough .357's to last a lifetime...lol. I mainly shoot the 45 colts though so I burn through my those pretty quick. No matter, a couple hours over the lead pot and some time at the sizing machine puts me back in business for a good long while.
