Walther P5 price check

While at a gun show last week I spotted a Walther P5 for $650. The pistol was used but was in excellent condition. What do you think? Should I grab this thing and add it to my German police pistol collection?

This is a bit high for a used P-5. They sell new for this price.
I paid $575.00 new for my P-5. I think it's a good hundred dollars overpriced. Earl's has them new for this price and Gulf Stream is even cheaper.

JMC what happened? He was always cheaper than Earl. I have bought guns from Earl and he is high but I do think he has balanced off a bit since he can't bring in P-99 anymore without going through S&W. He still brings in P-5 though.

About 2 years ago they were $500 NIB around here. That was until there were no more, so now the price has gone up.

Offer $575 for it but don't go over $600. (Unless the seller won't come down and you really want that gun. )
