My son purchased a German P-99 the year prior to the S/W merger. Unfortunatly he's got the 10 round mags, and is curious if there are any newer high-cap magazines available. Or will the newer post ban S/W mags fit his pistol, it's a .40 cal. He's the computer guru and claims no luck on the net. Local gun shops have been of little help or incouragement.

I just recieved in the mail from SW a pair of 12 round .40 mags for my P-99, so they are available. I got those through a free offer though.

Try gunshows. When I went to one in October up in Tulsa they had LEO marked mags, which are legal to own by all now. I bought my P99 just after that show and sent in for my 15 rnders (9mm) and just a few weeks later S&W sent me my mags. Their Walther marked but they came from SW. Good hunting.
