I recently bought a West German ppk/s 1971 vintage. It came w/ the finger rest clip, but for concealed carry, its a bit bulky. I would like to get a standard clip for it. Now the Walther catalog lits 2 clips, one for the US made and one for the German. Does anyone know the difference there is a slight difference in price. If the only difference is where the clip is made I'd get the US made one. On that note, I've seen Magher (I don't think I'm spelling that correctly. It's the same company that makes the sights and advertise in the Delta Force Catalog) clips that sell for about 21.00. Has anyone ever used them in a gun made in the Fatherland?

Thanks!

I believe the cut-out for the mag catch is different in the German vs. the American pistols. My German PPK mags won't "catch" in my American PPk and vice-versa. Can't really tell you why they decided to do this. My best guess is that Interarms (U.S. Walther) didn't want people buying cheaper surplus European mags.
