Anyone know what the value of a 1967 marlin golden 39a that's been painted worth? Came with bushnell banner .22 scope that I have.

Assigning a value is tough, because gun values aren't commonly set for non-original finishes.
So, it comes down to what someone is willing to pay.

You could probably increase the value by stripping the black paint off the wood and refinishing it with a good finish.

I'm assuming the paint was applied to the metal to cover a worn or rusted blue finish, but you never know, it could have a decent blue job under the paint and someone painted it just to get a different look.

Yeah, but, the bbl metal looks to be lightly pitted beneath the paint job.

I'd strip, stain & refinish the wood, and call it a $200 rifle.

100 bux may be high. Lot of time to strip and refinish the stock. If the bluing is shot then it is even worse..

If you are buying offer 50 bucks. If selling ask 100 and be willing to come down from there.
