Using Nagant Brass to Make 32 S&W Long

Hey Guys,
I was wondering is it possible to use once fired commercial 7.62X38 brass trimmed down to load 32 S&W Long. I have a bunch of it and I won't be reloading for the nagant revolver. But I will be reloading for my Hand Ejector Third Model. I know the rim on the nagant is not as thick as the 32 S&W Long case. Just Curious

I wouldn't try it.
Rim dimensions are all wrong.
Base is too big.

...And have you checked to make sure it's boxer-primed brass?

You might end up having problems with primers backing out during firing.

The more difficult issue would be dealing with thar .02 larger case head on the Nagant. You might be able to swage the case head, but it might also be very difficult to get it done.

No 32 S&W Long is readily available. I just have alot of commercial Nagant brass that I'm not planning to use (to reload for the nagant). So I thought I'd post the question to see if it could be converted to 32 S&WL, which I AM going to be reloading for. I'll just offer the nagant brass up to one who does reload for the old war horse.

No I don't want to sell it, but I'll trade it how's that strike ya? I probably have a hundred maybe more of reloadable Nagant brass in the coffee can.
