US Revolver Co (pic within)

I inherited a 32 Caliber revolver marked "US Revolver Co" on the barrel. Grips have "US" emblem. I posted a pic of the right and left sides.

Interesting (to me) is that this is a DA revolver, yet has traits of a SA - specifically a) the cylinder does not swing out and b) you load it by means of an opening cut into the right side that exposes one cylinder bore at a time.

Has anyone heard of this brand? Any ideas about manufacture timeframe? I'm guessing early 1900s - but really have no facts to back that up other than the cylinder configuration.

US Revolvers are are subsidiary of

Iver Johnson.

Check egunparts for cross-reference and possible parts & schematic.

I've actually got the successor to that: the Iver Johnson Sealed 8. It's essentially the same gun, but .22 and built much later. Parts are a touch on the confusing side to get a hold of for these, but with the longer barrel on yours, it should be a halfway decent shooter.
