Upcoming mountain lion hunt

I'm going mountain lion hunting in the morning. Taking the hound out to try to track one down for a friend with a license.

Yessir - Good Luck, Indeed!

Got an old Tom about 4 years ago that was eating on a rancher friend's spring calves - sucker was 7'2" tip to tip, 165 lbs and dry scored 13 13/16ths inches Boone & Crockett. Missed the books by 3/16ths. He's a rug on the day bed and his skull is mounted over my computer desk as we converse!

Sounds like a good lion kdubya. One day I'll get one too...

But for now - I'll have to plan for that someday. The hunt was a bust, spent all day looking, but couldn't find a track. We'll have to try again another day.

Thus go the fortunes of the Mountain Lion hunter.
