ultramax 44 mag

Anyone here remember anything about the ultramax 44 magnum cowboy ammo,, 240 grain RNFP..

since they are dead/defunct cant get information from them, SO does anyone have a clue with the factory stated velocity was?

Midway still has a page dedicated to it, even though it's discontinued.

Looks like 750fps is the listed velocity.

A very practical and popular "Business load" that will do 90% of anything that gets done with a big bore handgun is the "Skeeter Skelton" 44 Special load,
You can load it in a 44 Magnum case.

I think it might get you where you want to go. Unfortunately,I don't have data for it handy.

^+1 on the Skelton load.

There is a lot to be said for a 240 to 250 grain hard cast semi wadcutter at 950 to 1050 fps.
