Ultra carry aftermarket magazine

I read in this forum, something about the original magazine of the Kimber Ultra Cary marking the aluminum frame, and there were some magazines on the market the would correct that problem. I had what I thought was a good aftermarket, but developed a problem with it. What is any one using?

Wilson Combat OX mags in my Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry

+1 on the Wilson 47OX. It's a 7 rounder with a base pad. It's what I use exclusively in my Kimber Tactical Ultra. The 47OXC has a thinner pad if you don't have the magwell and want to keep it short.

The issue with the original Kimber mags is the follower did not have a skirt and the top would tip into the aluminum feed ramp. This is not a concern with the Kimber Ramped barrels so much, but then again, I don't like followers without skirts.

Another vote for Wilson Mags - I use them on all my .45's Wilson, Kimber, Baer, etc

Thanks very much for your help. I called and talked to John at Wilson. Very informative. I liked his conversation so well, I bought one for my Grand Raptor also.
