I am from West Central Minnesota, now live in the Twin Cities north metro area, and spent 3+ years at Grand Forks AFB in the late 70's working electronics on the Minuteman missile silo security systems. It was cold in the winter, great in the summer, and the hunting......, it was great. I mostly hunted ducks, geese, and grouse (ruffed). I plan to start hunting there again now that my oldest son is approaching hunting age, and the duck situation in Mn. is not too good anymore, generally speaking.
