Good job. Turkeys in the rain is tough work. Not only do they not respond as well when they are wet, they don't hear the call as well either. Many hunters just give up and go home.

good for you

Bad weather hunts are tough, you're wet, calls are wet, birds wet......etc.

Some guys don't go, that's a plus. And birds do gobble at thunder. I've heard a bird gobble at thunder, closed in and holed up till the weather broke, and then called them up. Notice I did not say I ALWAYs nail them.

Does PA let you hunt from a blind or is that still a no-no?
