Trying to find a bolt for Grandpa's shotgun

I was cleaning out my closet, and I ran across my Grandpa's old shotgun. Unfortunately, it's missing the bolt. I know I don't have it, as it was missing when it was first given to me.

It's a .410 Mossberg 83D, although the bolt from an 83B is also supposed to work.

Numrich is out of stock, and Google didn't turn up quite what I was looking for.

Does anyone know where I might possibly get one?

One of the results said that there might be a slight possibility that a bolt from another Mossber shotgun where 83 is the last number might work, like from a 183. Does anyone know anything about this?

Can anyone help at all?

Many of these older Mossberg shotguns were made in a vast number of models, but share parts across models.

I'd contact either Gun Parts or the Mossberg Collectors below to find a comparable model.

According to my info, the Model 83 has a different part number than a Model 183. Whether they're close enough to work, I don't know.

Here's some sources for parts:

Here's info from Mossberg's web site on old guns and parts:

If you need information on any older/discontinued Mossberg rifles, shotguns or parts, please contact the National Mossberg Collectors Association. The NMCA has the historical data to answer all of your questions.

Let us know if you had success...meanwhile I've got the 83d bolt on my items to watch for on the various internet auctions. If I run across one, I'll send you a PM.
