Troy MRF 13.8

Im looking to put a Troy MRF 13.8 inch rail and Noveske KX3 flash hider on my AR15. Does anyone have any feedback on this setup or one similar?

If the barrel is shorter than 14.5", that KX3 may not clear the rail. If the barrel is longer than 14.5", the KX3 is useless dead weight.
