Looking for load data for a 50 gr Winchester flat based lead nosed bullet with BL-C(2) powder for .222 Rem. The bullet package describes the bullet as a PSP. In particular, an OAL that would fit most factory rifles is really what I need. I'm loading for an old Revalation rifle that belongs to my father, who lives 4 hours away, so I don't have immediete access to the rifle. Thanks for any info that you guys can come up with.
Also could use data for 50 gr V-max with BL-C(2) powder in same rifle.

I load the 50 gr. SPSX over 24.0 gr of BLC2 for my M700 BDL. COAL is the same as factory at 2.130 because of the short magazine. Hodgdon lists this as maximum, so work up to it. It shoots into .25 inch. I might miss, the rifle does not. Enjoy.

The BL-C2 is good powder for the 222, but I always got better accuracy with IMR4198. Didn't seem to matter if it was 50, 52, 53, or 55gr bullets. Sierra was by far the most accurate. I burned 4 boxes of V-Max in load develpment and they simply would not group under 0.9" with any powder, OAL, or load in my rifle.
