Trigger job for Henry Big Boy .357/.38sp

I have new Henry Big Boy that I am shooting pistol cartridge silhouette at the club. I called on gun smith about trigger job and he said he wasn't sure he could do a Big Boy as they are "different".
Has anyone had one done? Also any suggestions about preferred tang sights would be appreciated. I currently have the skinner peep on it and while it shoots well it is not very convenient for level changes between distances.

Trigger job for a Henry

I just came across this old thread. Did the OP ever do a trigger job on their Henry?

Maybe a zombie thread--my Henry 45-70 came from the factory with a 3.5 lb pull which I find to be perfect, light enough for bench work yet stiff enough for woods creeping.
