Hello Fellers!
Does anyone have any experience with these here offerins? Do they choot good? Hows the lock? The 2 piece stock doesn't really give me warm and fuzzies, but at 280 doll hairs I can get over it. [emoji1] I'm thinking about getting a kit and tinkerin with it. Can someone list a bare minimum ( and maybe some luxury tools) set of tools one would need to complete a kit rifle? I'm gonna sit down tonight and watch Mikes Bucks County build. I don't want to start with an expensive kit for my first time. Thanks guys.

They shoot pretty good. They're the same ones CVA used to import. I have no personal experience with them or kit building in general so not much help there. If it's flint you might need to harden the frizzen and it will probably always have a hesitation before firing. You can make a spacer out of wood to replace the brass one and use a dark stain and the two piece stock will be less noticeable.
