Greetings FireForged, I own a BHP Practical
in 9m/m, and I love this gem. That's coming
from a devoted Sig-Sauer fan. For a single
action pistol, the Practical has everything
a shooter could wish for. Not fond of the
magazine safety feature; but I can live with
it. Mine is the fixed sighted version, and
I can hit plates consistently from 50 yards,
using plain old ball type ammo. I believe
that you will get many hours of enjoyment
from your Browning.

Best Wishes,

Hey guys, I noticed that there is a little spring at the end of the mag. Is that just to assist the mag when you release it?

Ok..One more question. Other than the two-tone finish, commander type hammer and adj sites are there any aditional differences between the Practical and the Base model? Thanks in advance.

Hello, Fireforged the adjustable sight's on
the BHP Practical are opitional; as mine has
the standard fixed sight's. This weapon shoot's exactly to point of aim. Don't think
I will tamper with the sight's? :)

Best Wishes,

No flame intended but Hi-Powers will freely drop non-spring assisted mags like Inglis etc. with a little tweeking of the sear spring at the bottom. The mag spring however makes the free droping of mags more reliable in an un alterd gun.
