Trade Mountain Bike for Rifle

I have an offer on my post in the sell, trade, Rifle section.

My Mountain Bike is easily worth about $500. The offer is for a Saiga .308 with a scope.

It looks like it's in excellent condition with wood fore and stock.

Is this a good trade or should I pass? If you can tell me a little about the Saiga that would be good to.

Darn, I thought for a second there that a mountain bike was wanted in exchange for a rifle. Was gonna go weigh my Cannondale for shipping charges, and see what the rifle was...

I say this is a personal choice. I could spout off about how the bike serves a certain purpose and the rifle another and each has to be maintained and upgraded on occasion. But since you are obviously willing to part with the bike, I say go for it. Duh gummint ain't outlawin no bikes, yet. Herr Klinton just says you can't ride your bike on land duh gummint has declared offlimits.

The one he has is the regular .308 with the smaller scope. What's the going rate for that gun.
