Tikka T3s - Gun Porn

I was just going through some photos and couldn't remember if I'd posted these. Anyway this first one (3 photos) is my Tikka T3 Super Varmint in .223. Her first scope was an unmitigated disaster and several on here were kind enough to help me decide on a new scope. I finally settled on the Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24x50 Tactical. Anyway I've just barely got her sighted back in since the scope change. But shooting cheap Remington UMC 55gr she shot sub 1" @ 100yds on her first trip to the range wearing her new eyes. I can't wait to see how she does with match grade ammo.

Just for grins here's a couple my Tikka T3 Lite in 300wm wearing her new eyes - a Burris 3-10x40 Signature Select. I haven't even had time to sight her in yet. Before the scope swap she was grouping 1-1/2" @ 200yds with cheap 180gr Federal Power Shok and I'm anxious to see how she does with the Burris.

Nice looking rifles, I am a big fan of Tikkas. What type of rings and bases on the .300 WM, and how is the recoil on that lightweight puppy. I think I have seen those rings before but do not recall the brand name.

Thank you. The rings are DNZ, formerly Dednutz, one piece rings and base. I have a Limbsaver on the 300wm and that helps a lot but it still has a stout recoil. Not punishing, just stout. That's part of why I changed the scope. The first had less than 3" of eye relief, this one is closer to 4".
