Thunder 380 manual safety stop pin / firing pin

Been carrying my Thunder 380 for a couple weeks and noticed body sweat had caused the decocker to rust to the point of not working. So I field strip the gun, lub and remove the decocking lever and since I'm in there I remove/clean the firing pin.

Unfortunately the "manual safety stop pin" falls out of the slide at this moment. It's a small cylindrical shaped item with a small spring on the bottom. It interacts with a notch cut out of the firing pin. When properly installed the top of the stop pin will be just below the surface of the slide. The notch in the stop pin should be turned to face the notch in the firing pin.

Important note: the firing pin is correctly oriented when the flat surface at the extreme aft end of the firing pin is pointed toward the bottom of the gun.

The Thunder manual is almost no help regarding assembly details. Hope this helps someone down the line.
