I just aquired the XD-40 service model in the middle. I can't help it, I just can't say enough good about the XD's. The 1911 grip angle is the high point for me with these.

Well then this would tell me you either bought a sub compact that you expect 25 yard accuracy from and not it's intended purpose for CCW or you need to work on your technique ?
